The kids and I had never been to a Rodeo until this summer. We went to Nephi for theirs and had a BLAST! Josh couldn't be there because he was playing softball in the Lamb Day Softball Tournament. The kids loved the whole thing, but their most favorite part was the "half time" show. It was 2 guys riding motor cycles and doing tricks. It was quite entertaining. One of the neatest things about the Rodeo was Uncle Chet's participation. He joined the National Guard last year and the guard guys always catch the flag before the rodeo starts. We got to watch him participate in that. It was really neat. They had a guy jump out of an airplane with the flag attached to him and then after he lands, they all hustle over to pick up the flag and hold it for the National Anthem. It was fun to get to watch Uncle Chet help with that. We will definitely be going again next year...and I think Josh will even skip softball to go with us.
Me and the boys waiting for the Rodeo to start.
