My Newest Purchase

A couple of months ago, I saw some jars similar to these at Costco that I didn't buy.  By the time I had decided that I really wanted to spend the $50 on them that they cost, they were gone and my heart was broken.  I really loved them and thought about them pretty much everyday. I thought they would look great  on my new dining room table (whenever I get that).  Well, the other day I got on EBAY, just curious to see if they had the jars.  They didn't, but they had these and they are even cuter than the ones I saw at Costco.  I jumped right on them, not wanting the opportunity to pass again and here they are. All I need now is a place to put them.

Making Progress...Finally!

Well, we FINALLY started our house.  They dug the hole this weekend and hopefully within the week, the plumbers will get out there and they can get the concrete started.  We have been hearing, "We'll dig at the end of the week" for about 5 weeks now.  It's nice to finally see some dirt moving.
Someday, this will be our home.
Here I am, standing in the hole, ready to get started.

Coby is 6 months!!

Coby is officially 6 months old as of yesterday (Tuesday).  He is such a cute little bug.  He is now eating some baby food and I think he'll even like it soon.  He usually gags and shivers when we give him bites.  It's pretty funny.  As most of you already know, he really tries hard to keep up with his brothers.  He rolled over quite sooner than they did, sat up at 4 1/2 months and now, he gets up on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth.  It's crazy!!  I guess he just wants to run and jump with the other boys.  Won't be long now!

Yearbook Craze!

This is so FUNNY!!  I laughed my head off the other night playing with these pictures.  You should all try this at www.yearbookyourself.com  Enjoy!!!

MOM, Josh thinks I look just like you in this picture.  He said it was especially because of the glasses.  I agree.  Aren't we adorable?

Of course, I HAD to do the kids too.

Tumbleweed Turmoil

Due to a wonderful crop, we have an overabundance of tumbleweeds this year, and we find ourselves taking drastic measures.  We are GIVING them away.  Yes you read that right.  They are FREE. We are not asking a cent.  I know it's hard to believe especially for this time of year, but we feel this is the best way to deal with our ever growing pile. If you find yourselves in need of a tumbleweed or two, please come and take your pick.  Limit 2.  Please keep in mind, we want there to be enough for everyone!!!

As you can see, a few people have had great luck finding some good looking tumbleweeds.

Kaleb and Mom

With Talon at pre-school 2 days a week, Kaleb and I get to spend some time together.  He usually sits on the bathroom counter while I get my make-up on and my hair done.  I swear that's his favorite part of the day.  I enjoy it too.  He keeps me company and we get to visit with each other.  Here is a picture of us playing Play Doh.  What FUN!!

Potty Time

Kaleb has recently discovered the potty.  He'll come to me randomly trying to take his diaper off and say, "Tinkle, potty, tinkle, potty!!"  Of course, even though it's not convenient, I have to let him go.  He'll get up and down at least 20 times before I have to make him put his diaper back on.  He does pretty good though if we let him wear undies. Hopefully sooner than later, we'll only have one in diapers.  Wouldn't that be nice???

Talon and Kaleb.  They are both wearing Talon's underwear.

Left or Right Handed?

We have been so excited that Kaleb was favoring his left hand.  We always wanted a lefty, but lately we're not sure what he's doing.  He still throws and bats left-handed, but sometimes he'll write and eat with his right hand. As you can see from this picture, we think he is as confused as we are.  What a silly guy!!

Coby is 5 Months!!

Well, Coby was officially 5 months old on August 30.  I like to take a picture on their birth day each month for the first year.  Here is one of Coby's  pics.  We love him so much.  Now that he doesn't cry 23 hours a day, he is even more fun.  What a happy little guy!

Pre-School

Of course I HAD to post pictures of Talon on his first day of pre-school.  Doesn't everyone??  He is very excited to be in school and I know he's going to learn so much.  So far, all I get are bits and pieces of what he did each day, and sometimes he says he didn't learn anything.  Although I know that's not true.  He's getting so big and I am so proud of him.

I also took this one of the boys together because Shannon did that last year and it was crazy to see how much Allie and Janessa changed.
