Mow Strip

I know it seems lame, but I am so excited about the mow strip. I think it's going to look great and be helpful. Thanks to great neighbors for their help (I did bribe with homemade cinnamon rolls), we got it done pretty quick. The kids favorite part? The cement truck...practically in our backyard.

Looking good!

Nice work Josh!!

Thomas the Train

Thomas the Train was the same day as Scandinavian Days this year. After the festivities in Ephraim, we headed to Heber to ride the train. The kids always love going and our good friend John made it possible for us again this year. Here are a few pics from our adventures.

Coby loved the train ride, but was a little unsure at first. He sat on the bench very still. Too funny!

Kaleb, loving it!
They have a hay bale maze there too that the kids love to make their way through.

Scandinavian Days

We always enjoy going to Scandinavian Days. This year, Josh had his band kids participate in the parade. They did a great job. Grandma came with us to the parade and to have some lunch. We had a blast as usual!

Huddle Up!

The boys decided that this particular day was a great one to play football. I agree. Talon must have been the coach because every time he said "huddle up" the kids would all run to him and wrap their arms around each other. It was pretty funny. They had a blast. After the huddle, they'd stand in a triangle or square and throw or kick the ball to each other. I think we might have a football team in the making!

Baby Announcement

For those of you who didn't see this...this is how we announced, back in May, that another Rasmussen was on the way! My friend Lisa made this for me. I LOVE it!! Thought it was super fun and so did the family.

Pre-School Graduation

Talon and Kaleb loved being in pre-school with Ms. Teresa. She is a great teacher and really loves the kids. At the end of each year, the kids get to "graduate" and they put on a little program at the park. It's fun to see the things they've learned throughout the year.

All of the kids lined up for the program. Kaleb is on the left end and Talon is 4 kids from him.

Fathers and Sons Camp Out

Josh, Kaleb and Talon got to go to the annual Fathers and Sons camp out this year in May. It is the first year the kids have been old enough to go and they had a blast. They made a fire, roasted marshmallows, slept in the van, climbed trees and acted like the cute boys they are. The boys still talk about how fun it was. I'm pretty sure this will be a tradition for them from now on.

Happy kids!
Talon loves to climb trees. I think this might have been his favorite part.
