Sunday Best

Here are a couple of pictures of the boys in their Sunday clothes that they got from the Easter Bunny. I think they're pretty handsome.

Kaleb, Talon and Coby.
Kaleb hates long sleeves and Sunday clothes. He wasn't too happy about having his picture taken either.

Handsome boys!

Fishing

Josh only got to go fishing 3 times this summer (once was with the kids, and I don't think that really counts). Our neighbor Tim loves to fish and they like to go together. Hopefully next summer he'll get to go at least a few more times. Here is a pic of one of the fish he caught. Pretty isn't it?

The Jump

Our neighbors dumped a load of dirt in their backyard which the neighborhood kids took over. They loved it! They'd ride their bikes down the hill in the side yard and over the dirt mound just like they were BMX dirt bikers. It provided many hours of enjoyment for all the kids. Too bad we put up a fence and the neighbors used the dirt in a garden. Oh well...

Coby preferred standing on the hill to riding down it. That made the other kids a little mad. See them all waiting patiently in a line at the top of the hill?

Damian's turn.

Atley again with Coby close behind on a scooter.
Atley gives the jump a big thumbs up!!
Here comes Kaleb. He hadn't learned to ride a bike yet, so he rode the scooter. That worked too!
Talon...going super fast!

The Fence!

Well, we decided that it's time for a fence. Coby, especially, doesn't like to stay in our yard. So we figured with a fence, he can't go anywhere. We're so excited to get it done! We thought it would be best, considering how rocky our ground is, to let the experts dig and set the posts. Turns out, that was the best decision we could've made. Even the huge machine they brought in was struggling...and they did it all in one day. Doesn't get much better than that.

The machine digging the post holes. It was bouncing all over the place and spitting out pieces of crushed up rock. That was crazy to watch.
Check out those tires.
All of the holes dug and the posts in their spots.
So exciting!

After pictures to come in another post!!

Easter Morning

This year, the Easter Bunny left hats for their baskets. The boys were stoked. Talon got Spiderman, Kaleb got Batman and Coby got Cars. They were filled with the standard yummy Easter candy and a few other little surprises. It was fun. They also each got a new outfit for church. Last but not least...there was the annual race for candy, where everybody wins!

Family Party

Because Josh and Coby's birthday's are so close, we had our family party for both of them on the same day. It was fun. We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house and Uncle Chet, Aunt Hailee and Uncle Matthew came too.

Kaleb and Talon...always willing to help Josh open his gifts.

Although he looks half asleep...he was really excited about his trucks. :)
Bocce!!!
Josh, the boys and I got Coby a slide for his birthday. He was super excited.

Easter Egg Hunt and Dying Eggs

We've gone to Fountain Green the last couple of years to hunt Easter eggs. The kids really have a good time. The city hides real eggs and they give the kids money for them. They make them pretty easy to find for the little kids so we like it.

Here we are with all of the eggs we found.
We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house after we hunted eggs to dye some. That's always a fun/messy project. Here is Coby drawing on his egg.

Talon...sweet egg! That one looks like it's going to be multi-colored.

The gang...minus Josh. They're almost done!

Happy Birthday Josh!

Josh turned 32 on April 2nd. The kids got him some weights and they were so excited to give them to him. Happy Birthday!

Coby's 2nd Birthday

Coby had his 2nd birthday on March 30th. We had a great time with family, presents, cupcakes and balloons. Happy Birthday Coby!!!

Kaleb and Coby
As part of his birthday from Josh and I, we filled the sandbox with new sand. Kaleb and Talon got him some sand toys. He got a rake and shovel...
...and a box of fun sand toys.
He also got a Lightning McQueen bucket and shovel.
Instead of cake, we had cupcakes with army men on top. Something different and fun! Here are Coby and Grandma...make a wish.

Oh Kaleb

Kaleb is so funny. He loves Batman and especially loves that our neighbor has a lot of Batman attire. Every time he comes home he is wearing something new. This day, he came home with this Batman mask on. I about died. It is so small, it barely fits on his head and to see, he has to turn his head sideways because the piece between his eyes blocks the view. He cracks me up!!

Kaleb and me. You can hardly see his eyes peeking out from behind the mask.
