Carving Pumpkins and Halloween

It's been a few years since we carved pumpkins at our house, but we decided we need to get back into the habit. The kids really enjoyed scraping out the pumpkins and thanks to the new carving saws, they were able to do a lot of the carving on their own pumpkins themselves. We had a blast. It's going to be one of our new traditions for sure.

Coby...didn't really want to put his hands in the pumpkin snot, but liked being at the table and checking everything out for a while.

Our neighbors, Sandra and Luke, came to carve with us. Next year, hopefully, we'll get Danny and Ethan to come too!

Here we all are with all of the pumpkins we carved. Thanks to Josh, there are some that don't have plain triangle eyes, nose and a typical mouth. He is so creative!

The kids really loved Halloween this year too. Unfortunately, Talon was getting Pneumonia while we trick-or-treated and we didn't know it. It was also kind of cold so they didn't want to stay out too long, but they did love it and they had so much fun dressing up.
